Studied is the influence of zinc oxide particle size and specific surface area on energy capacity and gradient (the voltage on 1 mA to height of varistor ratio) of zinc oxide varistors with multicomponent additive consisting of Bi2O3, Sb2O3, Co3O4, NiO, MnO2, SiO2. The influence of some parameters of the process of multicomponent additive production on energy capacity and gradient of zinc oxide varistors was also investigated.

PACS: 84.32.Ff
Keywords: varistor, zinc oxide, current-voltage characteristic, energy capacity.
